I can help you find them. A journey that you will only regret if you do not do it!
For more than twenty years Hart Hoffman has totally immersed herself in her passion...genealogy. It started, as it usually does, doing her own family research. She took courses at BYU, Provo and the Salt Lake Library, even before the explosion of Internet research. She has lost count of the myriad of microfilms viewed over the years. There have been visits to archives, libraries, court houses, cemeteries, funeral homes, synagogues and churches both across the United States, Europe and Eastern Europe. She has had the privilege of meeting many wonderful living people while searching for the dead ones. One of the highlights was being involved in a cemetery indexing project in Langenschwarz, Germany with the local government publishing
a Book of Remembrance.
Hart participated in Ancestry.com's Expert Connect Program and achieved a 5-star rating by the conclusion of the program in 2010. It was during this period that Hart's genealogy expanded to include Hawaii research both for clients and professional researchers that require 'boots on the ground' research.
After Hart had written three personal family books she found her grandfather's Yiddish book, Collected Writings, in the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA. This led her to have his published book of 1919 translated, which she edited and extensively appended to tell about the author, the people and places about which he wrote and a history of the time. Then she republished it a bilingual side-by-side presentation in 2010.
She explains, "In my past life I was a registered nurse, then a business woman with my own manufacturer's representing and distributing company. This is an even better way to make a difference with my life while helping others."
She truly represents what she stands for...Genealogy from the Hart
